Heptic is an early-stage startup building an AI powered Business Intelligence platform for restaurants. Restaurants operate on thin margins while data is spread across many systems (POS, inventory, COGS, labor). We bring all this data together and turn it into clear, actionable insights that help operators make better decisions and protect their margins.
Expectations:
This Project will be in a fast growth, startup environment where expectations are high. In return, you will learn a lot quickly, take real ownership, and gain hands on experience building a real AI product used by real customers.
Project Tasks:
Depending on your strengths, you may work on one or multiple areas:
- Build new product features and improve UI components (React, Next.js, TypeScript)
- Connect frontend to backend APIs/databases; integrate external data sources (POS, PMS) via ELT
- Evolve our BigQuery + dbt data platform; maintain models across Raw → Staging → Entity → Mart layers
- Design and build AI powered agents and LLM based components for analytics & automation, within the product.
- Write unit + E2E tests, conduct code reviews, and optimize rendering/query/caching performance
Starting Date: Immediately or upon agreement
Duration: 3–6 months
