Recognition of credits

General

Credits that have been earned outside of TUM, both abroad and in Germany, can be recognized within the framework of §6 ADPO and §16 APSO.

 

Prerequisites

The prerequisite for the recognition of achievements is that there are no significant differences in the acquired competences (learning outcomes) with respect to the skills or knowledge acquired through a course at another academic institute, i.e., that the achievements are equivalent in terms of content and level. 

 

For TUM MGT Students

If you are an enrolled student at TUM School of Management and would like to request a credit recognition for a course offered at our chair, please use only the digital platform PIM. 

The platform for inter*national credit recognition (PIM) offers a digitalized process for all types of credit recognition.

For Students from other Schools

Please fill out the “proof of eqivalence” document and send it together with proof of your grade and a description of the course you attended to nicole.reiner@tum.de.
