Description
The objective of the seminar is to provide a deeper understanding of important topics in technology and innovation management. The topic of this term’s seminar will be to explore distributed innovation among users and communities. We will define four topics under this umbrella and students explore a research question from one of these topics.
The format of this seminar will be a joint kick-off session for all participants. After the kick-off the students split up in four topic-specific groups.
The work for this seminar will be spread throughout the semester. Each student has to turn in four text modules that add up to the seminar paper. After handing in each module, students meet in the topic-specific group and the examiner to discuss the modules for 1.5h.
Throughout the course, we will pay particular attention to research design, methodology and scientific writing. Thus, the seminar will be a good way of preparing for your master thesis in technology and innovation management or related subjects.
