TUM SEED Center

The new TUM SEED Center was founded in February 2020. It aims at contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 7, i.e. clean and affordable energies for all by 2030. The acronym SEED stands for “Sustainable Energies, Entrepreneurship and Development in the Global South“. It symbolizes the seed, which will thrive and prosper in the future. The TUM SEED Center is funded by DAAD exceed with financial resources from the Federal Minstry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The core team includes Prof. Dr. Frank-Martin Belz (Director), Lara Knödler (Project Manager-Overall), Iqbal Ilham (Project Coordinator-Overall), Florian Krenn (Project Coordinator-Finance), and Carina Seidl (Finance Officer).
