Bachelor-/ Masterarbeit zum Thema "Absorptive capacity in firms"

Der Lehrstuhl für BWL – Technologiemanagement (Prof. Dr. Christina Raasch) bietet folgende Masterarbeit/Bachelorarbeit an:

"Absorptive capacity in firms"

Absorptive capacity is a central construct in the field of innovation management. It describes “the firm's ability to identify, assimilate, and exploit knowledge from the environment” (Cohen & Levinthal, 1990, p. 569). Even if it has been theoretically acknowledged that different types of absorptive capacity exist for different kinds of knowledge, the interplay of these types of absorptive capacity has not been empirically been explored until now. The goal of this thesis is to develop and test such a framework.

Please first review

  • available literature on absorptive capacity
  • available literature on information processing
  •

Then answer following questions

  • Which different types of absorptive capacity exist?
  • What are their respective antecedents and consequences?
  • How do they interact?
  • How are these interactions shaped by context?
