Tasks
• Develop an AI system that automatically extracts structured data from German real estate construction drawings (PDF/images)
• Implement model pipelines using YOLOv8, Detectron2, LayoutLMv3 and OCR (Tesseract / PaddleOCR)
• Output results in machine-readable JSON for integration with AI-RE’s platform
• Contribute to AI-RE’s real production environment and learn best practices for deploying AI in industry
• Collaborate closely with our CTO and AI engineering team on model evaluation and optimization
The detailed project description, aligned with TUM requirements, will be developed in collaboration with the IDP/AP/Project Study students.
