Prof. Dr. Anne Tryba

Anne Tryba is a Professor of Entrepreneurial Education at the TUM School of Management. She serves as the Academic Program Director of the TUM Entrepreneurship Exchange Program and the TUM Entrepreneurial Masterclass and is responsible for developing TUM's entrepreneurial education vision and strategy, closely cooperating with the UnternehmerTUM, and the TUM Venture Labs.
Anne's research focuses on entrepreneurial education for sustainability, academic entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial team behavior, and scaling entrepreneurial ventures. Her work has been published in leading management journals. Anne is experienced in developing and teaching undergraduate, graduate, and executive courses on various entrepreneurship and innovation topics, focusing on sustainability, entrepreneurial competencies, and venture strategies and growth.
Before joining TUM in February 2023, Anne was a Professor at the Munich Business School, where she developed and launched a new Master's program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, serving as the program's Academic Director. She also held the position of Vice Dean of Learning and Teaching. Previously, she worked as a strategy consultant in Europe and China, held a senior management role at a tech firm, and co-founded a startup. Anne studied Management at the Technical University of Freiberg and holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship from the University of Luxembourg.
